JOB SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for executing and optimizing the organization’s talent acquisition processes with a strong emphasis on high-volume recruiting. This role manages the full recruitment lifecycle for multiple concurrent openings, from talent attraction and sourcing to pre-onboarding and onboarding, ensuring a strong candidate experience and timely fulfillment of high-priority staffing needs.

The role partners closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to develop effective recruitment strategies for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles, interpret recruitment KPIs, and implement actions that accelerate hiring outcomes. The Talent Acquisition Specialist must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing requisition volume, and maintaining quality and responsiveness throughout the hiring and onboarding process.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSTalent Acquisition & Workforce Support
  • Manage a high-volume recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, selection, offer management, and pre-onboarding across multiple concurrent requisitions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce demand, prioritize urgent openings, and develop effective recruiting strategies by role type, hiring volume, and business need.
  • Identify and develop scalable recruitment channels based on position type, including job boards, community outreach, referral programs, schools, and other talent sources that support high-volume hiring.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for critical, recurring, and high-volume roles to support consistent staffing needs.

Recruitment Process Management

  • Coordinate and facilitate interview processes with hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders in an efficient, high-volume recruiting environment
  • Ensure completion of pre-employment processes including candidate assessments, background checks, and drug testing as required.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.

HR Systems & Recruitment Analytics

  • Administer and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure data accuracy, process efficiency, and reporting capability.
  • Ensure high-volume recruitment activity, candidate movement, and requisition status are accurately maintained in the ATS to support visibility and timely decision-making.
  • Generate and interpret recruitment metrics and dashboards to support workforce planning and hiring decisions.
  • Analyze KPIs and recruitment trends to identify bottlenecks, improve candidate throughput, and accelerate hiring outcomes across high-volume recruiting activity.

Onboarding & Employee Integration

  • Directly manage and execute the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities with HR, hiring managers, IT, and operations to ensure a smooth employee integration.
  • Ensure all onboarding documentation, orientation activities, and compliance requirements are completed.
  • Support new hires during the initial employment phase to promote engagement and successful integration.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

  • Time to Fill: Average time required to fill open positions.
  • Time to Hire: Efficiency of the recruitment process from candidate identification to offer acceptance.
  • Offer Acceptance Rate.
  • Recruitment Pipeline Health: Availability of qualified candidates to support recurring, urgent, and high-volume hiring needs.
  • Quality of Hire: Measured through hiring manager satisfaction and new hire performance/retention indicators.
  • Onboarding Completion Rate.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years’ experience in similar field
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish required
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruitment KPIs and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication and candidate engagement skills.
  • Experience managing ATS systems and recruitment workflows that support efficient, high-volume hiring operations (workday preferred).
  • Ability to work onsite in warehouse environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position primarily works in an office and operational environment and requires the ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing. The role may require frequent sitting, standing, walking, and coordination across departments to support recruiting and onboarding activities.
