The Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter supports day-to-day recruiting activities and provides hands-on assistance throughout the hiring process. This role is responsible for coordinating and supporting full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
This position is well-suited for a recruiting professional who is looking to grow within a Healthcare IT / SaaS environment, with exposure to revenue cycle, healthcare services, and technology roles. The role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and delivering a consistently positive candidate experience, while contributing to a growing Talent Acquisition function that is expanding to support business growth, new capabilities, and evolving hiring needs.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support full-cycle recruiting activities, including drafting job descriptions, reviewing resumes, conducting initial phone screens, coordinating interviews, and assisting with job offers.
  • Communicate with candidates through the Applicant Tracking System (UKG Pro) and email to provide timely updates and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Assist with building and maintaining a diverse candidate pipeline for assigned requisitions.
  • Conduct proactive sourcing using online tools and platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and basic networking efforts.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System to track candidates, manage workflows, and distribute pre-employment assessments.
  • Review pre-employment assessment results and escalate questions or concerns to senior recruiting leadership as needed.
  • Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and the Director of Talent Acquisition, ensuring availability and logistics are clearly communicated.
  • Assist with background checks, education verification, and reference checks in accordance with company policy.
  • Support salary discussions and offer preparation by following established compensation guidelines.
  • Partner with SIS Hiring Managers to gain an understanding of team needs and hiring priorities.
  • Maintain accurate records, notes, and recruiting activity metrics within the ATS.
  • Represent the organization professionally and positively in all candidate interactions.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 1–2 years of recruiting or HR-related experience, internship experience, or coordination experience acceptable.
  • Interest or exposure to Healthcare IT, SaaS, or revenue cycle services preferred.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (experience with UKG Pro a plus).
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in learning sourcing techniques and candidate engagement strategies.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
