Job Summary:
Leeward Renewable Energy is seeking a proactive and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our forward-thinking Human Resources team. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the recruitment process for various positions across the organization, contributing to the growth and success of Leeward Renewable Energy in the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment plans for a variety of roles.
Support the full lifecycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers to candidates.
Utilize sourcing techniques to identify and engage potential candidates through job boards, social media, and other channels.
Maintain positive relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Assist in managing the recruitment process workflow within the Workday Applicant Tracking System, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Provide regular updates on recruitment metrics and progress to the Director of Human Resources and other relevant stakeholders.
Participate in recruitment marketing initiatives to promote Leeward Renewable Energy as an employer of choice.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align recruitment efforts with organizational needs and objectives.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to improve recruitment strategies.
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
Assist with other HR projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
2-4 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within the renewable energy or related industry.
Familiarity with using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), such as Workday, to manage recruitment processes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Please Note: This is an in-office role, requiring on site presence in our office a minimum of three days per week with hybrid flexibility of working remotely two days per week, subject to manager and policy approval. #LIHybrid
