The Role
Job Summary & Responsibilities

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.

Note: Two levels will be considered for this opening (entry-level candidates and level II candidates).  

Job Summary -- Essential Functions/Duties

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide full-cycle recruiting support predominantly to Hiring Managers in our Las Vegas Operations / Corporate location. Some example job duties may include some or all of the below, depending on the level hired:  

  • Utilizing online sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and ClearanceJobs to source and submit passive candidates to a subset of assigned Hiring Managers.
  • Coordinating virtual and in-person interviews.
  • Generating offer letters and submitting them for approval.
  • Occasionally attending virtual, onsite, and offsite career fairs and/or marketing events at universities, technical academies, and military bases.
  • Travel may be required up to 2-3 times per year.
  • Assisting with career fair registration: registering for events in Handshake; submitting invoices in Livelink for payment.
  • Occasionally assisting with packing and shipping of career fair materials.
  • Serving as a Maximo expert for submitting PR's (Purchase Requisitions) when new swag is needed.
  • Providing friendly, in-person customer service to Hiring Managers and employees who visit the office with questions.
  • Assisting candidates with their online applications and contacting them promptly with feedback/next steps.
  • Other job-related duties may be assigned.

Each employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to their job.

Working Conditions

This position involves work typical of office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting to 30 pounds, constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The incumbent must occasionally work duty days in excess of ten hours and perform shift and weekend work to meet required schedule demands. This position will require periodic travel.

Highly Desired Qualifications 

  • Prior knowledge and experience utilizing sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and ClearanceJobs
  • Prior experience or familiarity with purchasing systems such as Maximo
  • Prior experience utilizing travel tools such as Concur
  • Prior experience with interview scheduling using platforms such as MS Teams or WebEx.

Requirements -- Education, Technical, and Work Experience

Level I: 

Associates degree in business administration or human resources and at least 1 year of job-related experience or equivalent combination of formal training and related work experience. Possess good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications and ability to perform detail-oriented work. The incumbent must possess planning/organizing skills, be able to work under deadlines, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and possess a valid state issued driver's license.

Level II:  

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and least two years of related job experience; or equivalent combination of education and formal training.

In addition, a Talent Acquisition Specialist II must possess the following qualifications:

  • Prior experience recruiting candidates for technical positions is required.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Regulatory Environment and Compliance.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications.
  • Possess planning/organizing skills ability to work under deadlines.
  • Ability to perform detail-oriented work and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess or obtain, within a specified time, the necessary recruitment certification(s), as assigned.
  • Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance.
  • Possess a valid state issued driver's license.
