We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will be pivotal in attracting top talent to SoundCloud. You will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and hiring exceptional professionals who can contribute to our innovative and dynamic environment.

As an experienced recruiter, you have solid understanding of engineering roles, technologies, and industry trends.You will be responsible for partnering with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand the requirements for all roles across the organization. You will develop effective recruitment strategies to attract and engage highly skilled candidates. You will identify and connect with potential candidates by utilising various sourcing channels such as job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and industry-specific groups. Additionally, you will conduct thorough candidate screenings, assessments, and interviews to evaluate technical and non-technical skills, experience, and cultural fit. You will also conduct kick-off meetings with your hiring managers to better understand the team needs. 

You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including offer negotiation, onboarding, and post-hire follow-up. Building and maintaining relationships with candidates will be a key aspect of the role, ensuring a positive candidate experience and keeping them engaged throughout the recruitment process. You will also collaborate closely with other Talent Acquisition team members to enhance recruitment strategies, processes, and employer branding initiatives.

Experience and Background:

  • Proven experience as a recruiter, specifically within engineering, product and design recruitment but also enthusiastic about taking on other roles across the business.
  • Solid understanding of engineering roles, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Familiarity with various sourcing techniques, including online job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Experience in conducting technical and non-technical interviews and evaluating candidate’s skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality hires within established timelines.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
  • Passion for technology and the ability to effectively communicate SoundCloud's mission and culture to prospective candidates.
  • Strong focus on DEI recruitment by structuring processes and policies that promote diversity.
  • Source, network with and proactively reach out to minorities, female candidates, people with disabilities or other under-represented groups.
