Why this role?
Zipline is seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition professional to lead our recruiting efforts during a critical growth phase. This full-time, 3-month contract role offers an exciting opportunity to implement existing hiring strategies and processes, deliver exceptional candidate experiences, ensure we are able to find and recruit the best talent, and contribute directly to building a world-class team. There is a strong likelihood and potential for the position to transition into a permanent role after the initial term. We are looking for someone who can handle the day-to-day tasks of recruitment, and stretch into and grow with the demands of the role as the demand grows. Zipline is an international employer, looking for applicants for this role who are willing and able to work exclusively in North American timezones every day.
What you’ll be doing
- Drive the end-to-end recruitment process, from opening roles through internal processes to offer letter acceptance, ensuring timely and high-quality hiring outcomes.
- Manage the tactical requirements of each open position, including candidate communication and interview scheduling.
- Handle a requisition load of 5-10 jobs at any given time, in partnership with the People and Culture team as volume increases.
- Operate within internal controls and processes for approval when opening roles.
- Maintain and manage the hiring forecast sheet daily, consulting and collaborating with the VP of People and Culture and their team.
- Bring your expertise to create clarity within the recruitment process, offering improvements and refinements as needed.
- Collaborate with the People and Culture team to ensure salary equity requirements are met and operate transparently regarding pay structures.
- Deliver exceptional and timely communications to candidates in line with our guidelines.
- Partner with hiring managers to refine job requirements, update job descriptions, and create targeted sourcing strategies as needed.
- Work effectively and efficiently with our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) - Breezy
About you
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally in high-growth, high-volume, or tech environments.
- Proven expertise in sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, and interview best practices.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a track record of meeting ambitious hiring targets.
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence are absolutely essential.
- Confidence in interacting with and influencing individuals at all levels of the organization—you will often partner directly with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with ATS platforms and other recruitment technologies; familiarity with Breezy is a plus.
- Ambition and the potential to grow into a larger role alongside organizational growth.

Compensation
For American applicants - annualized US salary is $USD85,500 - $100,000 For Canadian applicants - the annualized Canadian salary for this role is CAD$72,000 - $90,000. Please note Zipline’s Compensation philosophy is based on location data and benchmarking our salary bands at the 75th Percentile of pay against region-based market pay. Different locations within the US and Canada will dictate earning potential within the noted bands.. If you are applying from outside of the locations listed, a different salary will likely apply to you.
