Job Description

To support the continued development of our Middle East Business Unit, we are looking for an experienced and highly driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Dubai.

You will manage the recruitment of technical and specialized professionals for our clients’ projects across the Middle East. This position requires a strong understanding of the technical assistance, engineering consultancy and international workforce solutions market within heavy industries.

Position and collaboration

You will be operationally attached to the Middle East Business Unit and will work closely with its Business Development Managers and operational leaders.

You will also work cross-functionally with the Head of Talent Acquisition Manager to align recruitment priorities, apply Group processes and standards, monitor performance and continuously improve sourcing and recruitment practices.

Your responsibilities

Understand and challenge recruitment needs

  • Work closely with Business Development Managers and operational teams across the Middle East;
  • Collect, analyze and prioritize recruitment requests according to client projects and business priorities;
  • Understand the technical environment, required expertise and specific constraints of each assignment;
  • Advise internal stakeholders on candidate availability, market conditions and realistic recruitment strategies;
  • Challenge recruitment requests when necessary and propose alternative sourcing solutions.

Develop effective sourcing strategies

  • Define the most appropriate sourcing strategy for each position;
  • Identify and approach specialised technical professionals through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, databases and professional networks;
  • Conduct active headhunting and engage passive candidates;
  • Develop qualified talent pools by discipline, country, client and project type;
  • Build and maintain a strong network of technical professionals across the Middle East and international markets.

Assess and support candidates

  • Conduct structured screening and qualification interviews;
  • Assess candidates’ technical background, sector experience, motivation, mobility, availability and compensation expectations;
  • Present relevant and well-qualified candidates to the operational teams;
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process;
  • Deliver a professional and positive candidate experience from initial contact through to the final decision.

Manage recruitment activity and performance

  • Draft and publish clear, accurate and attractive job advertisements;
  • Ensure all recruitment activities and candidate information are properly recorded in SmartRecruiters;
  • Monitor recruitment progress, deadlines and key performance indicators;
  • Participate in regular recruitment reviews with the Middle East management team;
  • Work cross-functionally with the Head of Talent Acquisition Manager on reporting, recruitment performance, tools and process improvement;
  • Contribute to the continuous development of sourcing methods and talent acquisition practices.

Qualifications

Experience and skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience;
  • A minimum of five years of experience in technical or industrial recruitment;
  • Proven experience within a technical assistance company, engineering consultancy, international manpower provider or specialised recruitment agency serving heavy industries;
  • Strong knowledge of the Oil & Gas, energy, power, industrial construction, infrastructure or process industries;
  • Previous recruitment experience within the Middle East market is strongly preferred;
  • Ability to understand technical positions and complex project environments;
  • Strong experience in direct sourcing, headhunting and passive candidate engagement;
  • Good command of LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, applicant tracking systems and Boolean searches;
  • Ability to conduct structured interviews and present clear, well-supported candidate recommendations;
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken. Additional regional languages would be an advantage.

Your profile

Above all, we are looking for a dynamic, proactive and hands-on Talent Acquisition professional who takes full ownership of recruitment assignments.

You do not simply execute recruitment requests. You analyse the need, recommend a strategy, challenge stakeholders when necessary and actively drive each recruitment process until completion.

You are operational, solution-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with urgent, complex and hard-to-fill positions.

Personal qualities

  • High-energy, proactive and strongly results-oriented;
  • Hands-on and operational mindset;
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability;
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative;
  • Persistent and motivated by challenging recruitment assignments;
  • Able to anticipate needs rather than wait for instructions;
  • Confident when advising and challenging internal stakeholders;
  • Well organised and able to manage several priorities simultaneously;
  • Flexible and calm when priorities change;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Positive, professional and team-oriented attitude.

A strong understanding of the competitive landscape of technical assistance, engineering services and industrial workforce solutions in the Middle East will be considered a major asset.

What we offer

  • A permanent, full-time position based in Dubai;
  • A position available as soon as possible;
  • A compensation package combining a fixed salary and performance-based variable compensation;
  • An opportunity to join an international group operating across major industrial markets;
  • Direct involvement in high-value and international recruitment projects;
  • Professional sourcing and recruitment tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter and SmartRecruiters;
  • Close collaboration with the Middle East business and operational teams;
  • Cross-functional collaboration with the Head of Talent Acquisition Manager;
  • A dynamic, multicultural and fast-growing working environment.
