We're looking for a driven, high-performing Talent Acquisition Partner who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and loves the challenge of connecting great talent with great opportunities. Supporting our national villages business, you'll take ownership of end-to-end recruitment for hospitality and utility roles, partnering closely with leaders to deliver quality hires at speed.

Working within our pod-based recruitment model, you'll build talent pipelines, influence hiring decisions, provide market insights, and create an outstanding candidate experience from first contact through to onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive high-volume recruitment outcomes across your assigned portfolio, balancing speed, quality and candidate experience.
  • Uplift capability within your recruitment pod to support collaboration, consistency and best-practice recruitment outcomes.
  • Partner with hiring managers to guide interview processes, selection criteria and candidate evaluation, enabling confident and informed hiring decisions.
  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience through clear communication, timely feedback and proactive engagement throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessments, offer negotiation, employment contract preparation and onboarding handover.
  • Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines for recurring and high-volume positions, ensuring future workforce requirements can be met efficiently.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics, analyse trends and provide market insights to support workforce planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure recruitment activities remain compliant with legislative requirements, company policies and operational objectives.

Key Competencies & Experience

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment, ideally within high-volume, blue-collar, hospitality, FIFO or operational environments.
  • A genuine passion for recruitment and a proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence outcomes and build trusted partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and attracting talent in competitive employment markets.
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and disciplined process management.
  • A resilient, adaptable and solutions-focused approach, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities
People
  • Utilise various sourcing methods to identify and attract passive and active candidates, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the interview process, including developing interview questions and evaluation criteria.
Customers
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
  • Extend job offers to select candidates and facilitate negotiations as needed.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication and assistance throughout the offer stage.
  • Collaborate with People and Culture and legal teams to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Process
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct market research and stay informed about industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications and suitability for open positions.
  • Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidate fit and interest in the role.
  • Coordinate and facilitate assessments, tests, and interviews to further evaluate candidate skills and competencies.
  • Collect feedback from interviewers and candidates to inform hiring decisions.
  • Track key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and candidate quality.
  • Analyse recruitment data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance recruitment outcomes.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on recruitment activities and outcomes.
Other
  • To ensure all health, safety, quality and environmental standards and legislation are strictly met, ensuring a safe environment for employees, customers, contractors and visitors, and promptly reporting any issues, potential issues or near miss events.
  •  Any other required duties appropriate to the scope, nature, and seniority of the role.
Qualifications
Professional Qualifications
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications and/or previous working experience in the full life cycle of the recruitment process.

Experience
  • Experience in human resources information systems (HRIS/Oracle).
  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role, hospitality sector desirable.
  • Solid understanding of full cycle recruiting processes and best practices.
Skills
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Strong time management and organisational ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Skills Required

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or previous experience managing the full life cycle of recruitment
  • Experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or in a similar role
  • Experience with human resources information systems, including Oracle
