Role and Responsibilities 

Under the direction of the TA Team Leader, provides full-cycle recruiting in a high-volume environment for an assigned client group. 

 

Essential Functions 

Level I: 

  • Build a pipeline of applicants by utilizing available recruiting tools. 
  • With direction and oversight from the Team Leader, create recruiting content.  
  • Represent HCR at job fairs and other recruiting events. 
  • Align candidates matching employment opportunities. 
  • Using tools and training provided, research potential applicants to ensure they meet minimum requirements. 
  • Using tools provided, and within established deadlines, contact potential applicants to conduct phone screens; schedule and conduct in-person interviews; and if necessary, schedule follow-up interviews with hiring manager or designee.  
  • Using tools provided, confirm compensation/offer packages are fair and equitable. 
  • Collect required credentialing and on-boarding paperwork; works in conjunction with onboarding specialist to ensure a complete employee file is submitted to Human Resources. 
  • Establish new hire touchpoints during onboarding process to ensure a positive new employee experience. 
  • Is present to meet/greet new hires on start date. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Level II (In addition to all of the above): 

  • Establish relationships with career services offices at area colleges/trade schools, community partners, and other key candidate channels in the communities the agency serves. 
  • In partnership with the Team Leader, develop and maintain a community outreach plan. Establish professional relationships with college/university/trade school career services offices, professional associations, and other key candidate channels in the communities the agency serves.

Education Requirements 

  • Associate's degree required.

 

Qualifications and Requirements 

  • Minimum 5 years of insurance or healthcare-cycle experience. 
  • Experience with healthcare insurance websites. 
  • High level of Independence with little to no supervision. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Experience with obtaining health care insurance. 
  • Role model ability to maintain and protect confidentiality. 

 

Work Environment 

The TA Specialist is primarily in an office setting and may be exposed to outdoor conditions. 


The working conditions are classified as light work: 

  • Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Light work involves sitting most of the time.
