Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with managers to understand position and skillset requirements
  • Proactively source, review resumes, conduct phone screens, recommend candidates and lead in-person interviews
  • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and daily reporting with accuracy
  • Participate in Employee Orientation
  • Responsible for pre-employment human resources processes such as scheduling interviews, reference and background checking, job offers, etc.
  • Aid in writing and posting job descriptions that get results
  • Utilize sourcing and recruiting techniques including job boards, professional networking, social media, internet searches, resume database searches, campus career fairs, referrals, etc. - be creative
  • Develop the company recruiting brand, utilizing a variety of social media sources
  • Provide input into the planning, implementation, and coordination of cost-effective recruitment programs to meet projected growth of the organization
  • Participate and assist in career fairs and other recruiting events as necessary
  • Performs other related duties as required
Qualifications

Requirements

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and customer focused (internal and external)
  • Self-starter with excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
  • High energy level with a sense of creativity to effectively match candidates with the company's needs, culture, values, and priorities
  • Demonstrated knowledge with various recruiting techniques and experience in social media/online recruiting
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and related program software
  • Attention to detail
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Maintains confidentiality, is open to others' thoughts and opinions and exhibits willingness to explore new ideas
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • Desire for growth and learning

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field or equivalent experience; plus minimum 1 year of proven recruiting experience required
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) knowledge and experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
  • Experience with Paycom (ATS) preferred
  • IT recruiting experience is a plus
  • Operations and Sales recruiting experience preferred
  • Staffing agency recruitment is preferred
