UnspecifiedThe Talent Advisor is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire top talent while ensuring an excellent candidate experience and compliance throughout the process. This role combines strategic recruiting, stakeholder management, and process improvement within a fast-paced aerospace environment.
- Acts as the subject matter expert in the hiring process, acting as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a high-quality experience for both.
- Proactively develop strategic relationships and engagement strategies with identified universities, technical organizations and referral networks.
- Reviews resumes and employment applications to create a short list of candidates to submit to the hiring manager.
- Interview and screens applicants for technical competence, applicable background and skills, individual goals and ability to fit in the organization and function effectively.
- Makes employment recommendations based on information developed through phone screens, on-site interviews, and evaluates data concerning previous employment records.
- Ensures compliance with all legal aspects of the hiring process.
- Establishes cadence reviews with hiring managers to ensure timely response to candidates and fill the position.
- May participate on project teams impacting Talent Acquisition function and completing tasks on timely manner
- Strategic partnership with hiring leaders — understanding business needs and advising on hiring decisions.
- Workforce planning — forecasting talent needs and aligning hiring with long‑term business goals.
- Sourcing hard‑to‑find talent — especially engineers, technicians, and specialized aerospace roles.
- Candidate experience management — representing the company brand and guiding candidates through the process.
- Data‑driven recruiting — using metrics to improve hiring speed, quality, and efficiency.
- Process improvement — applying lean/continuous improvement to streamline recruiting workflows.
- Recruiting technology expertise — mastering ATS systems, sourcing tools, and digital hiring platforms.
- Cross‑functional communication — collaborating with engineering, supply chain, HR, finance, and leadership teams.
- Typically requires a University Degree in appropriate discipline in Business Administration, Psychology or related and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience in similar roles.
- Minimum 1 year of experience managing Recruiting or HR systems including Workday, Success Factors, Oracle, LinkedIn Recruiter, Smart Recruiters, etc.
- Advanced English
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in written and spoken English
- Strong knowledge of high-volume hiring strategies, recruiting events, and workforce planning.
- Experience sourcing candidates through job boards, employee referrals, social media, and community partnerships.
