Talent Acquisition Specialist DACH 18-Month Contract

About the role
The EMEA Talent Acquisition team at Boston Scientific supports the achievements of the organization’s strategic objectives through the timely recruitment of talent and the building of future talent pools. The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports to the Regional TA Team Coordinator and works closely with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to fill open positions while positioning Boston Scientific as an Employer of Choice and participating in strategic European TA projects.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications
- Leading strategy meeting with the hiring manager to understand the requirements of the role and advise on recruitment strategy
- Conducting interviews by evaluating employment factors such as job experience, education, training, skills, knowledge, abilities, and other data relevant to the selection process
- Creating and executing a strategy that leads to increased candidate flow and pipelining and optimizes a diversity of candidate sources
- Coaching Hiring Managers and coordinating selection process to ensure optimal selection of candidates for available positions
- Engaging resources to maximize the strategic role of the Staffing function and eliminating non-value-added work. Focusing on continuous improvement and making suggestions to improve the staffing process, policies, and strategy
- Preparing, extending and negotiating competitive job offers
- Implementing organizational recruiting strategies to attract and find outstanding qualified candidates whilst putting an emphasis on our employer branding with the local and European HR team as well as the Global Talent acquisition team.
- Identifying potential candidates through the use of intricate Boolean searches, user groups, professional and social networking, candidate referrals, networking, web sourcing, and the internal CRM.
- Build a strong talent pool of candidates for hard-to-fill roles.
What are we looking for in you?
- Between 3 and 5 years of good client-facing recruitment experience, could be both in-house or in agencies.
- Experience recruiting in the LifeScience industry (Medical Devices and/or Pharmaceuticals) would be a plus.
- Experience in Recruitment Agencies would be a strong plus.
- Native or bilingual German level and high English level. Any additional European language would be a plus.
- Based in Düsseldorf or nearby, or willing to relocate.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills to support the business
- Familiarity in face-to-face and online interviewing, including competency-based interviews
- Proficiency in using LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools (i.e: social media) as well as proactive recruiting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate administrative tasks with the support of the TA coordinators
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service focus
- Some flexibility to travel when required
- Experience with SuccessFactors ATS would be a plus
