What you’ll do

  • Candidate Attraction: Utilize proactive, creative, and cost-effective recruitment methods to attract a diverse pool of candidates across the APAC region. This includes leveraging social media, job boards, and talent pools to ensure a steady pipeline of top-quality candidates.

  • Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and organizational culture to ensure alignment in recruitment efforts.

  • Candidate Experience: Deliver a positive and engaging candidate experience by maintaining timely communication, providing feedback, and ensuring a smooth recruitment process from application to onboarding.

  • Brand Ambassador: Act as a visible and committed advocate for Weir, promoting the company’s values and culture on social platforms and within professional networks to enhance employer branding.

  • Technology Utilization: Employ recruitment technologies and systems to build and maintain talent pools, document recruitment activities, and ensure compliance with global “One way of work” processes.

  • Daily Role: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a portfolio of roles, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and offer negotiation, ensuring high standards and efficiency.

  • Success Metrics: Success will be measured by the quality and fit of hires, candidate and hiring manager satisfaction, and the ability to meet recruitment timelines and targets.

  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

  • Experience recruiting within manufacturing and engineering sectors.

  • Adaptability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Proven ability to attract and engage candidates using external sources such as LinkedIn, job boards, and search engines.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Collaborative team player with a sense of urgency and a commitment to delivering results.
