Under routine supervision, this position is responsible for strategically sourcing, soliciting, and screening potential candidates for all positions and talent pools to support recruiters. This individual is responsible for building talent networks, sourcing passive candidates, and maintaining a pipeline of potential applicants. The incumbent works closely with recruiters and hiring managers to develop and execute the sourcing strategy for the business unit or functional area.Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and the specific requirements for each open position
- Utilize a variety of sourcing platforms and campaigns to contact and screen candidates, identify a diverse and qualified talent pool, and sell career opportunities available at J.B. Hunt. Identify new approaches as appropriate.
- Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates utilizing best practice sourcing practices and advanced search techniques
- Follow up with prospects and invite them to apply/answer questions about J.B. Hunt
- Screen, assess and refer candidates to appropriate employment positions
- Generate reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing recruiting data and trends and identify opportunities based on analysis
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Communications, Psychology, or related field and 1 year of relevant experience; or 3+ years combination of relevant education, experience and training
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Communications, Psychology, or related field, with 3-5 years of recruiting experience, education, and training
- Ability to act professionally
- Ability to be both flexible and adaptable
- Ability to communicate effectively through all mediums
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- Experience coordinating events and managing logistics

Compensation:
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
