We are seeking an independent, highly proactive Senior Clinical Recruiter for a 1-year fixed-term contract to completely own and manage the end-to-end talent acquisition function for Fresenius Medical Care in India.
As a sole contributor for the country, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing all clinical and operational hiring across our pan-India dialysis network. Operating from India, you will report directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager based in the Philippines. This role requires a seasoned recruiter who thrives in a standalone capacity, comfortably balancing strategic alignment with stakeholders across India and cross-border reporting lines.
Your ResponsibilitiesStandalone TA ownership: act as the sole point of contact for all recruitment activities in India, managing the full-cycle recruitment process for clinical roles (Dialysis Nurses, Nephrologists, Resident Medical Officers, and Technicians) from sourcing to offer closure.
Cross-border reporting: maintain seamless, regular alignment with the regional Talent Acquisition Manager based in the Philippines, providing clear visibility into the country's hiring pipelines, market challenges, and local metrics.
Pan-India Stakeholder management: partner directly with local Center Managers, Head Nurses, and Consultant Nephrologists across different states to understand hiring needs and ensure selection alignment.
End-to-End sourcing & execution: independently execute candidate sourcing using specialized channels (Naukri, LinkedIn, healthcare job portals, local networks, and employee referrals) without agency reliance wherever possible.
Pipeline & attrition management: build and maintain a robust talent pool of qualified clinical professionals to aggressively manage and mitigate center attrition within a highly competitive market.
Employer Branding & institutional partnerships: represent the company independently at career fairs, Indian Nursing Council (INC) recognized campus events, and paramedical institutes to secure a steady flow of graduate talent.
Hiring Manager advisory: provide expert talent market guidance to local hiring managers regarding regional salary benchmarks, talent availability, and effective interview techniques.
Market Intelligence & strategy: proactively assess regional market conditions in India (specifically Tier-2 and Tier-3 talent dynamics) to identify talent shortages and implement creative localized sourcing techniques.
Compliance & credentialing: ensure all independent recruitment activities strictly adhere to global company policies and Indian regulatory frameworks, managing background verification (BGV) and state nursing/medical council registrations.
Data & KPI tracking: independently track and report on key recruitment metrics, translating data into actionable insights for regional TA leadership in the Philippines.
Experience: 5+ years of core experience in recruitment/talent acquisition, with a proven track record of managing high-volume recruitment within India, preferably in healthcare (nurses and clinical support)
Work environment Fit: proven experience working as a sole contributor or in an autonomous, standalone capacity. Prior experience reporting into a remote or cross-border manager is highly desirable.
Contract Commitment: Ability to commit to a 1-year fixed-term contract with a focus on immediate impact and self-driven execution.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Master of Health Administration (MHA), MBA in HR, or a related field.
Language Skills: Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory for day-to-day operations and cross-border reporting. Knowledge of additional regional languages is a distinct advantage.
Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, strong negotiation capabilities, and the resilience needed to manage country-wide hiring pressures single-handedly.
