We're looking for a Talent Scout, not a Talent Coordinator.

What You're Here to Do

Your job: get the right people in the right seats, fast — and as a mid-senior partner, go beyond filling roles to shape how we plan, attract, and assess talent across the company.

  • Hunt for talent — don't wait for applications. Source proactively on LinkedIn and beyond, and always have strong candidates in sight
  • Filter with precision — assess candidates for skill, mindset, and cultural fit; use AI tools to sharpen your judgment, not replace it
  • Own the full cycle — first contact to signed offer, you drive it. No handoffs, no gaps
  • Be a true partner to hiring managers — understand what they actually need, align on expectations, push back when needed, and coach them on how to interview and assess candidates well
  • Advise on workforce planning — partner with leadership and HODs to forecast hiring needs and shape headcount planning ahead of demand
  • Partner with HODs on talent strategy — act as a strategic advisor on how each team builds and scales, not just a role-filler
  • Strengthen our employer brand — contribute to how respond.io shows up to candidates and in the market
  • Run a tight process — coordinate interviews, collect feedback, drive decisions, and never leave a candidate in the dark
  • Shape the candidate & employee experience — own the experience end-to-end, from first touch to a great start
  • Make data-driven decisions — track what's working, cut what isn't, and use hiring data and insights to drive smarter decisions over time

What You Bring
  • 3+ years in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment at a mid-senior level, with a strong track record in tech / SaaS / scale-up environments
  • Proven track record of proactive sourcing, especially via LinkedIn, including closing technical (Software Engineers, etc.) and hard-to-fill roles
  • Experience managing hiring across multiple concurrent roles
  • Experience advising on workforce planning and partnering with department heads (HODs) on talent strategy
  • A strong communicator and coach — you can advise and level up hiring managers, not just update them, and influence senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and AI-assisted workflows, and a data-driven approach to hiring decisions
  • Exposure to employer branding and recruitment projects (e.g. workforce planning, salary benchmarking) is a strong plus
  • Multi-region or international hiring experience is a bonus
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal

Skills Required

  • 3+ years in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment at a mid-senior level, preferably in tech/SaaS/scale-up environments
  • Proactive sourcing experience, especially via LinkedIn, including closing technical roles like Software Engineers
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent hiring roles
  • Experience advising on workforce planning and partnering with department heads on talent strategy
  • Strong communication and coaching skills to advise and influence hiring managers and senior stakeholders
