Nextran Truck Centers Talent Acquisition Partner - Central Florida Region

Nextran Truck Centers is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to help build the workforce that will support our continued growth. Based at our Orlando Florida dealership, this position will initially support talent acquisition efforts across the Central Florida Region, and will report to the corporate Vice President of Human Resources.

This Talent Acquisition Partner goes beyond filling open positions. This individual will work closely with dealership and HR leadership to understand current and future talent needs, build sustainable candidate pipelines, strengthen bench strength, and improve hiring and retention outcomes.

As a new role within Nextran, this position offers the opportunity to help shape and expand our talent acquisition strategy across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with dealership leaders to identify current and future hiring needs and gaps in bench strength.
  • Develop short- and long-term recruiting strategies that support both external hiring and internal talent development.
  • Source, recruit, screen, and help select qualified candidates for skilled trade, operational, sales, leadership, and other dealership positions.
  • Build proactive candidate pipelines for critical and difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Manage the recruiting and hiring process in partnership with Hiring Managers and local HR.
  • Help leaders improve interviewing, candidate assessment, and selection practices.
  • Support the identification and development of high-potential employees for future opportunities.
  • Partner with management on effective onboarding and training plans for new hires and monitor early retention.
  • Develop relationships with technical schools, industry organizations, professional associations, and other talent sources.
  • Leverage recruiting technology, social media, career fairs, marketing, and other creative sourcing strategies.
  • Monitor the competitive talent market and recommend ways for Nextran to remain competitive in attracting and retaining employees.
  • Use recruiting data and analytics to track results, including time-to-fill, source of hire, hiring volume, 90-day retention, and bench strength progress.
  • Partner with dealership leadership, HR Business Partners, and Corporate HR on employee engagement and retention opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 4 years of Human Resources and/or talent acquisition experience, preferably within a decentralized or multi-location organization.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting and hiring high-quality talent.
  • Experience recruiting skilled trades, technicians, transportation, logistics, supply chain, or other difficult-to-fill operational roles strongly preferred.
  • Strong sourcing, networking, and candidate pipeline development skills.
  • Ability to build credibility and influence leaders across multiple functions.
  • Proactive, results-oriented approach with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Experience with an ATS and HRIS; ClearCompany and UKG experience is a plus.
  • Staffing agency experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree and SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus
