Responsibilities
- Responsible for end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and managing candidates throughout the process.
- Support Engineering and Product teams with hiring needs and recruit best-in-class candidates.
- Proactively source candidates for future roles and create projects to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Screen and rank resumes and applications based on job requirements.
- Conduct pre-screening calls to evaluate candidates’ capabilities and cultural fit; interview to assess knowledge, skills, experience, and aptitude.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, facilitate the interview process, schedule interviews with hiring managers and interview teams, and build strong relationships with candidates.
- Act as an employer brand ambassador, representing PayJoy’s culture to external candidates.
- Understand PayJoy’s mission, products, services, and culture to promote the company as a great place to work.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a recruiter hiring multi‑level engineering and product roles.
- Experience partnering with senior managers and executives.
- Experience recruiting for US markets in fast‑paced environments/startups.
- Nice to have: LATAM hiring experience.
- Hands‑on experience with a variety of results‑oriented sourcing methods.
- Strong ability to screen applicants and conduct multiple interview types.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Lever a plus) and HR databases (BambooHR a plus); able to produce and report recruiting metrics.
- Spanish language skills a plus.
