Job Summary
SummaryThe Talent Acquisition Operations Supervisor is a key member of the Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations team. Leading a team of TA coordinators, this role will be charged with operational excellence across the preboarding and compliance requirements for new hires and internal transfers. This position reports directly to the Talent Acquisition Operations Manager.
Essential Functions
- Lead, develop, and provide day-to-day management of a team responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging preboarding new hire experience.
- Manage team work effort to ensure work is completed on time and within quality standards.
- Use strong analytical skills to drive adherence to service level agreements.
- Resolve complex and escalated issues that arise in the preboarding process.
- Actively work to reduce time to start for new hires through process improvements and efficiencies, tracking results continuously.
- Liaison with Mass General Brigham Security to evaluate any background check questions or results.
- Assist manager with creating and maintaining documentation of process improvements and operational procedures for preboarding new hires and internal transfers.
- Collaborate with Manager to improve metrics, measurement and analytics to ensure TA's ability to continuously improve and achieve its desired outcomes.
- Act in the absence of the Manager as appropriate.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Human Resources Management required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required
Experience
- 3+ years of dynamic Talent Acquisition or People Operations experience including experience with project management, process design, tools and systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Possess strong communication skills to effectively connect with cross functional teams including staff at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to optimally conduct meetings, both formal and informal.
- Requires minimal direction from leadership and possesses the ability to learn quickly.
