About the team

We’re looking to add a detail-oriented Talent Acquisition, Onboarding Specialist to our team. This person will be responsible for keeping our new hire onboarding process running smoothly and efficiently, all while promoting and maintaining the Angi brand. Our onboarding specialists are the face of the company, so we’re looking for a passionate brand ambassador who can woo candidates, build great relationships, and provide top-notch customer service to everyone we've hired who is preparing to start their career at Angi. The ideal candidate will be customer service focused with the ability to troubleshoot unique and difficult situations that arise.

In addition, the Talent Acquisition, Onboarding Specialist will need to build strong relationships with their teammates. They will directly be supporting the efforts of our full-cycle recruiters in onboarding and hiring a high volume of sales and customer care talent across the US. A calendar wizard who doesn’t sweat working in multiple time zones is a must!

What you’ll do

  • You'll assist recruiters with collecting candidate offer letters, I9 documentation and other relevant onboarding information.
  • This role will be on camera with new hires often, as completing I9s for high-volume hiring efforts is a key responsibility. 
  • You'll manage multiple steps in the onboarding process including, but not limited to, submitting & reviewing background checks, sending new hire documentation, and completing the hiring process via UKG.
  • You will maintain new hire rosters and communicate information to partners in IT and Facilities for equipment shipping/pick-up, tracking, etc
  • You will be responsible for candidate engagement from the time an offer is accepted until a new hire’s first day of training
  • You will manage a high volume of emails to & from new employees with questions, concerns, and onboarding updates.
  • You will assist the TA Operations team with various projects throughout the year including, but not limited to, Employee Referral Program, Recruitment Marketing, UKG, Greenhouse, Audits

In this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of full-cycle recruiting or employee onboarding experience, preferred
  • At least 2 years experience processing Form I-9 documentation, required 
  • May have prior experience utilizing an applicant tracking system, preferably Greenhouse or Ashby
  • Experience with UKG is preferred
  • Extreme attention to detail and AMAZING time management skills
  • Desire to work as part of a larger team- collaboration and relationship building comes second nature to you
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, which encompasses solid grammar skills, excellent listening skills, and the ability to communicate effectively through phone, in-person, and electronic communication.
  • A solutions-oriented mentality, with a professional, positive, energetic attitude and a desire to go above and beyond for the betterment of the team and think out of the box when solutions are not obvious
  • The ability to handle and prioritize multiple concurrent projects and the ability to adapt and learn on the fly to keep up with the lightning speed of our environment
  • Excellent customer service skills with patience & an obsession for the candidate experience
  • Strong organizational skills, your peers may describe you as the most organized of the group! 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • This role is non-exempt. The target annual compensation band for this position ranges $50,000-$65,000, commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living.

Where you’ll work:

  • This is a remote position and the ideal candidate will permanently reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas or Washington.
    • Angi currently has an office in the following city/states, 1) Denver, CO, 2) Indianapolis, IN and 3) New York City, NY, which are available for use if you reside near these locations.
  • We have a 'camera on' culture for virtual meetings. Team members must utilize all company provided equipment, including the webcam, for all team communications.
  • Must have private, distraction-free workspace
