We're building something new! As part of Optum Ireland's continued investment in talent and innovation, we are expanding our Talent Acquisition team with a dedicated marketing specialist. This is a unique opportunity to shape how we engage, attract, and inspire talent across diverse segments-both internally and externally.
Careers with Optum offer flexible work arrangements and individuals who live and work in the Republic of Ireland will have the opportunity to split their monthly work hours between our Dublin or Letterkenny office and telecommuting from a home-based office in a hybrid work model.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Event Strategy & Analysis: Identify and assess external career events that align with our priority talent segments, ensuring solid representation from our teams. In addition, design and host targeted in-house events-such as divisional lunch & learns and virtual career sessions-to educate, engage and attract suitable talent. Employer reputation management (Glassdoor, indeed, social sentiment)
  • Media Presence: Partner with global teams to promote stories about our people and culture to promote employee advocacy & ambassador programs through targeted media outlets. Ensure content aligns with brand tone and messaging. Benchmarking against competitors
  • Advertising & Campaign Optimization: Collaborate with global teams to optimize paid and organic presence on platforms like LinkedIn. Lead pilots with job boards/integrations to enhance reach and results
  • Internal Communications: Manage talent marketing communications, including e-bulletins, SharePoint localization, digital signage, virtual events, and policy refresh initiatives
  • Website & Careers Pages: Ensure content is relevant, localized, and optimized to attract key talent segments
  • Strategic Branding: Support senior leadership in initiatives that position Optum as an employer of choice within priority talent markets
  • Employer Value Proposition (EVP): Champion and amplify our organizational EVP-particularly the local proposition-to ensure Optum is recognized as a visible, attractive employer of choice in the marketplace, reinforcing our reputation as a great place to work
  • Performance Insights & Optimization: Collaborate with agency partners to collect and analyze marketing performance metrics. Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations that drive continuous improvement and maximize the impact of our talent marketing initiatives, as well as managing available budgets based on ROI
  • Content Consistency & Alignment: Ensure all talent marketing content is harmonized across every touchpoint-newsletters, emails, videos, case studies, in-app messaging, sell sheets, FAQs, blog posts, and more-so our messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with our brand voice
  • Stakeholder partnerships: Manage partnerships with TA, HRBPs, Comms, Brand and Digital Teams
  • Candidate experience alignment: Partner with TA to ensure brand-aligned job descriptions, interview guides, nurture pipelines

Required Qualifications:
  • You've worked in talent marketing, employer branding, or digital marketing before, and you know what it takes to make an organization stand out
  • You're confident running events and engaging stakeholders-whether it's planning the details or making sure everyone's aligned
  • You understand digital advertising and social media inside out, and you know how to use them to attract the right talent
  • You're comfortable partnering with external agencies to get things done-whether it's gathering insights, managing campaigns, or ensuring deliverables meet our standards. You know how to build solid relationships and keep projects moving forward
  • You can craft messages that resonate-your communication and content creation skills make people stop and take notice
  • You're great at collaborating with global teams and influencing outcomes, even when priorities differ
  • You think strategically and are always looking for ways to innovate and improve
  • You know how to prioritize, plan, and deliver experiences that really make an impact and boost visibility
