SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading recruiting delivery across assigned programs while remaining actively engaged in full-cycle recruiting. This role ensures consistent candidate flow, quality submissions, and timely fulfillment of customer requirements.
This position provides day-to-day leadership to recruiters, maintains visibility into recruiting activity, and partners closely with Program Management to align on priorities and delivery needs. The Talent Acquisition Manager is a hands-on leader who drives execution, maintains momentum across requisitions, and supports overall recruiting effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Recruiting Delivery: Own full-cycle recruiting for assigned and priority requisitions, including sourcing, screening, and candidate submission
- Team Oversight: Provide daily direction and support to recruiters, ensuring alignment on priorities, workload, and expectations
- Requisition Management: Drive progress across open roles, maintaining urgency and consistent candidate movement
- Candidate Quality: Ensure submitted candidates meet customer requirements and are properly qualified
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain active candidate pipelines to support current and upcoming hiring needs
- Program Alignment: Partner with Program Management to understand role requirements, demand shifts, and delivery priorities
- Activity Visibility: Maintain awareness of recruiting activity and pipeline health, identifying gaps and adjusting focus as needed
- Process Consistency: Reinforce consistent recruiting workflows and expectations across the team
- Issue Resolution: Address bottlenecks in recruiting flow, including sourcing challenges or candidate drop-off
- Communication: Provide clear updates to internal teams on recruiting progress, challenges, and needs
KNOWLEDGE
- Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting within aerospace, manufacturing, or technical staffing environments
- Familiarity with high-volume and/or specialized recruiting environments
- Understanding of candidate evaluation and qualification alignment
- Working knowledge of recruiting tools, CRM/ATS systems, and sourcing strategies; Paycom preferred
- Basic understanding of recruiting metrics such as pipeline activity and time-to-fill
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and Excel

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing and candidate management
- Prior experience in a lead or mentoring capacity preferred
- Experience in aerospace or technical recruiting environments strongly preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Primarily office-based with frequent communication across internal teams, candidates and customers
- May require extended hours based on recruiting demand and program needs
- Limited travel may be required
WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- If a Security Clearance is required:
- Candidates "must/may need" to be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
- Successful candidates must be able to secure Program Access approval
Skills Required
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing and candidate management
- Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting within aerospace, manufacturing, or technical staffing environments
- Familiarity with high-volume and/or specialized recruiting environments
- Working knowledge of recruiting tools, CRM/ATS systems
- Paycom experience
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and Excel
