OVERVIEW We're looking for a passionate and organized Talent Acquisition Manager to join the Asian Connections Hub (ACH) and help us expand our team of dedicated volunteers. In this vital role, you'll lead our efforts to identify, engage, and attract individuals who are eager to contribute to our mission.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Sourcing: Identify, engage, and attract potential candidates for volunteer positions using platforms such as LinkedIn, online communities, job boards, and social networks.
Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a talent pipeline by proactively sourcing candidates aligned with Asian Connections Hub’s values and needs.
Candidate Engagement: Reach out to potential candidates through email, social media, and other channels to introduce them to our mission and available opportunities.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Volunteer Outreach Coordinator and Hiring Managers to understand the roles, skills, and attributes needed for open positions.
Screening: Conduct preliminary conversations with candidates to assess their fit for the organization before passing them on to the next stage of recruitment.
Data Management: Keep track of candidate information and progress using our internal tools and systems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in Talent Sourcing/Recruiting: Prior experience in recruiting, acquisition, sourcing with some leadership or strategic involvement (volunteer or professional) is preferred.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage with candidates through compelling outreach and clear communication through various channels.
Familiarity with Sourcing Tools: Experience using LinkedIn, job boards, or other candidate-sourcing platforms.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple candidates and roles simultaneously.
Passion for Non-Profit Work: A commitment to helping Asian Connections Hub grow and achieve its mission.

EXPECTATIONS
This is a volunteer role; we’re asking for 3-5 hours/week max to contribute no volunteer should be exceeding these hours without communication to their manager
Must attend meetings for team meetings and 1:1s
Communication is key and participation is required to commit to the project
