About the Role

We have BIG plans at Blank Street and ensuring we have the best talent is absolutely key to making sure we achieve them. This role will lead and innovate our talent acquisition space ensuring we are attracting and finding the best talent, representing and giving people a flavour of Blank Street from day one and providing the biggest hospitality experience to all candidates. This role will be the first touchpoint and experience we give to our future superstars so we want to ensure that experience is the start of something extraordinary,

This role requires an experienced professional who can operate with autonomy, partner across functions, and help drive our employer branding efforts. You will own the full talent acquisition lifecycle, from identifying top-tier talent to partnering with leaders on effective hiring processes, all while leveraging data to refine and enhance our recruiting strategies.

This role will work with stakeholders across the business to recruit for our Baristas, Store Leaders, and HQ roles in the UK. You will work to provide an incredible candidate experience to applicants all while managing a high requisition load in a fast paced environment.

This role is based in our London office, reporting into the UK Director of People and will have a headcount of one Talent Acquisition Associate.

What You’ll Own:

  • Lead Store-Level Hiring: Support operations in hiring top talent for their stores, coaching them on what to look for and building a best in class team
  • HQ Talent Acquisition: Own recruitment for HQ roles across the UK supporting the job requisition process and owning the candidate intake, screening, and interview coordination.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers: Work closely with managers to source, attract, and select best in class talent aligned with our culture and values.
  • Training Support: Develop impactful training for hiring managers to enhance their recruitment capabilities.
  • Data-Driven Recruitment: Produce and analyse hiring metrics to identify gaps and opportunities, forecast and develop solutions to improve talent acquisition outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Build feedback loops with the HRBP, Operations, Learning & Development Manager, and Hiring Managers to iterate and improve hiring processes.
  • Innovative Recruitment Strategies: Experiment with creative ideas to innovate the talent acquisition process and elevate the candidate experience.
  • Compensation Benchmarking: Conduct pay band research and general compensation benchmarking to ensure competitive offers.
  • ATS Management: Own and maintain Blank Street’s ATS, ensuring it supports a seamless recruitment process for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with marketing, creative, and executive teams to develop and execute a robust employer branding strategy, making the company a talent magnet.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment, at a Manager level
  • A hospitality or retail background highly desirable
  • Experience working with ATS platforms and recruitment marketing tools
  • Familiarity with compensation benchmarking and pay band research
  • Strong project management skills and a process-oriented mindset
