The Role

ABOUT US

We’re the world’s leading provider of secure financial messaging services, headquartered in Belgium. We are the way the world moves value – across borders, through cities and overseas. No other organisation can address the scale, precision, pace and trust that this demands, and we’re proud to support the global economy.

We’re unique too. We were established to find a better way for the global financial community to move value – a reliable, safe and secure approach that the community can trust, completely. We’re always striving to be better and are constantly evolving in an ever-changing landscape, without undermining that trust. Five decades on, our vibrant community reflects the complexity and diversity of the financial ecosystem. We innovate diligently, test exhaustively, then implement fast. In a connected and exciting era, our mission has never been more relevant. Swift now has a presence in 200+ countries and legal territories to serve a community of more than 12,000 banks and financial institutions.

As EMEA-Americas Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead and develop a high-performing team of Talent Acquisition (TA) Partners across Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and the Americas (U.S., Mexico and Brazil). Reporting to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for strategically driving recruitment efforts across these two key regions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and delivering top-tier talent to Swift.

This role requires a hands-on leader and coach—someone who sets and maintains high expectations, fosters strong relationships with business leaders, and continuously enhances recruitment processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness. You will play a pivotal role in attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent while ensuring an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and lead a team of TA Partners across EMEA and the Americas, ensuring high performance, continuous development, and a culture of excellence.

  • Strategic Talent Acquisition: Drive a regionally tailored yet globally aligned recruitment strategy that supports Swift’s business goals and hiring needs.

  • Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, collaborating closely with HR and Finance to anticipate talent needs, streamline processes, and remove hiring roadblocks.

  • Recruitment Delivery: Oversee full end-to-end recruitment across multiple disciplines, with a strong focus on IT and technology roles. Step in as needed to support critical hiring efforts.

  • Performance & Metrics: Define and track key hiring metrics, providing data-driven insights and regular reporting to leadership to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement best practices, innovative sourcing strategies, and operational efficiencies to improve hiring speed, quality, and experience.

  • Hiring Manager Capability Building: Train and coach hiring managers on interviewing best practices, competency-based assessments, and Swift’s hiring values to strengthen hiring effectiveness.

  • Global & Regional Projects: Contribute to or lead cross-regional and global TA initiatives, driving process enhancements and best practice sharing across the organization.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience & Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in full lifecycle recruitment, including experience recruiting for technology and multi-disciplinary roles.

  • 5+ years of experience leading a TA team across multiple geographies including EMEA and the Americas.

  • Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams in a matrixed global organization.

  • Experience managing recruitment in both corporate and regional markets, with an understanding of diverse talent landscapes across EMEA and the Americas.

  • Strong hands-on experience with ATS systems (Workday preferred) and HR data analytics.

  • Expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.

  • Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, market trends, and innovative recruitment techniques.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and time zones.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead a critical function within Swift, driving talent acquisition excellence across two key regions. If you’re a strategic and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment, we’d love to hear from you!
