About the Role

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to help design, build, and scale our recruiting efforts in Albuquerque. You’ll be the go-to partner for hiring managers, helping them define needs, refine roles, and attract top talent in engineering, technical, and business functions. As one of the early people-focused hires, you’ll play a key role in helping shape our talent brand, candidate experience, and recruiting infrastructure in New Mexico.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for technical roles across engineering, manufacturing, facilities, and operations.

  • Partner with hiring managers to define workforce needs, craft clear role requirements, and develop effective hiring strategies.

  • Source, engage, and nurture candidates through creative outreach, networks, and partnerships.

  • Track recruiting metrics and provide insights to improve hiring efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Represent the company as an ambassador at industry events, career fairs, and within the local community.

  • Drive a structured, inclusive, and consistent hiring process.

  • Mentor and guide team members as the talent function grows.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, with a focus on technical roles in engineering, manufacturing, or related industries.

  • Proven ability to hire for specialized skill sets in competitive markets.

  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing techniques, and ATS systems (Greenhouse, Ashby, etc.).

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with candidates and hiring teams both on the ground and remotely.

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use metrics to influence decisions.

  • Deep knowledge of the Albuquerque or broader Southwest talent market.

Preferred Skills:
  • Passion for clean energy, deep tech, or mission-driven industries.

  • Experience recruiting in startup or high-growth environments in aerospace, energy, or advanced manufacturing sectors.

  • Background in employer branding or building recruiting strategies in new locations.
