MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS:
The Talent Acquisition team at Kainos are responsible for end to end delivery aligned to BU hiring demands. Based in locations across UK &I, Europe and North America, the team focus on direct sourcing channels to create a best in class candidate experience, in the most cost-effective way,
As a Talent Acquisition Lead (Consultant), you will work closely with team members to lead the attraction and acquisition of high calibre talent. Providing best in class candidate experience and acting as a brand ambassador for recruitment at Kainos internally and externally.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Delivering against recruitment delivery plans – you will implement the recruitment delivery plan aligned to commercial priorities and workforce plans, for BU globally. This includes having oversight of short, medium and long term delivery demands, across all locations and working with your BU stakeholders to execute hiring strategies for Permanent and Contract roles.
• Managing costs – you will ensure delivery is on time and in the most cost-effective manner. Managing the use of suppliers to ensure direct sourcing channels are optimised and that external agency costs are kept to a minimum. Managing supplier relationships and driving cost savings where possible with suppliers.
• Reporting, Management Information (MI) and analytics – you will use MI and reporting to have data driven discussions with key stakeholders and ensure the recruitment process is managed in line with key SLA’s and that any blockers or escalations around scheduling are visible and escalated to avoid impact on time to hire.
• Driving brand awareness strategies to impact talent pipeline – in line with overall delivery demand, you will plan brand awareness strategies to leverage Talent Attraction and ensure ensure talent pooling and candidate engagement/CRM are consistently being employed in the right way. Acting as a brand ambassador and role model for Kainos recruitment both internally and externally. You will have an active personal brand profile on social channels and be a regular contributor of best practice techniques and knowledge sharing.
• Driving continuous improvement – you will take an active lead in operational efficiency and always striving to improve the end to end process through process improvements. Actively engaging in Continuous improvement projects across the firm, working with other Kainos teams, as a Recruitment SME
• Working as a team with a focus on developing coaching others – As a Lead, you will mentor and coach your recruitment team as well as Talent Acquisition Coordinators, proactively focusing on their career development and ensuring the right blend of skills and capabilities for current and future business requirements. You will be the trusted strategic advisor for Talent Acquisition to your aligned capabilities.
MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS:
• Educated to degree level
• Experience in a lead recruitment role, either from an inhouse Talent Acquisition team or a technical lead recruiter within an agency.
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills with an ability to communicate and present effectively to stakeholders and groups of different levels of seniority.
• Confident using MI to drive data driven commercial discussions with stakeholders and setting KPI’s to drive optimal productivity and high performance within the team.
• Capable of leading recruitment for senior roles and defining sourcing strategies accordingly.
• A proactive team player with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• An appetite for recognising continuous improvement opportunties in end to end processes to benefit operational efficiency and best practice.
• Experience of supporting the delivery of a Talent Acquisition strategy in a fast paced environment.
• Commercial acumen and knowledge of market trends and talent sourcing strategies
• Advanced knowledge of Recruitment tooling systems and ATS systems such as LinkedIn, Bullion search techniques and in the use of MS Office suite of software.
• A proven ability to work independently and within a team, including working in a multi-disciplinary function.
• We are passionate about developing people – a demonstrated ability in managing, mentoring and coaching members of your team and wider community is important.
DESIRABLE:
• Previous experience within a Global organisation.
• Experience recruiting across multiple geographies and having an understanding of sourcing strategies required.
