ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Partnership and Business Alignment:

  • Work alongside Talent Acquisition Head, align end to end commercial recruitment strategy with corporate business strategy and HR Strategy and translate into strategic priorities into annual recruitment key objectives, core initiatives and actionable project roadmaps for the commercial team.
  • Own full-cycle budget management for commercial, formulate annual recruitment budget plans and continuously monitor budget spending status to ensure cost efficiency and compliance with financial rules.
  • Provide strategic consultation to Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners on workforce planning and talent pipeline development.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Partners and coordinate with onsite recruiters.
  • Monitor team delivery using reports, metrics, and KPIs to drive performance improvements; provide ongoing training and capability building to ensure team excellence.

Recruitment Program Implementation:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the recruitment and selection strategy for assigned business.
  • Ensure recruitment services comply with Global Recruitment and China policies/guidelines; Implement best practices in sourcing, screening, and assessment of high-caliber talent.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Proactively engage with senior business leaders (Leadership teams -1/-2), Hiring Managers, and HR Business Partner Leaders.
  • Guide the business on interview approaches, assessment techniques, and candidate evaluation methodologies, act as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition matters.

Talent Pipeline and Sourcing Excellence:

  • Display a pro-active, tenacious, and innovative approach to identify and attract right talents.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates to meet current and anticipated business needs.
  • Demonstrate expertise in sourcing strategies for senior commercial talents through diverse channels, including talent mapping and market intelligence, to identify key talent pools and drive effective attraction strategies.

Project and Change Management: 

  • Lead strategic ad-hoc projects relating to talent acquisition across China Commercial.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment campaigns with clear timelines and deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or above; minimum 15+ years of work experience, including at least 5 years in talent acquisition leader roles. Experience managing a sizable team in a global company with a fast-paced working environment preferred.

Leadership and Team Management: 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams;
  • Experience in performance management, capability building, and driving team accountability.

Language and Communication: 

  • Fluent English speaker with excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese; ability to communicate effectively across different levels of the organization and with global stakeholders.

Travel Requirements: 

  • 5%-10% business travel as needed.
