As a Talent Acquisition intern you will be part of our Talent Acquisition team; the team responsible for Recruiting employees, employee experience, and performance management.
How you pedal us forward:
Supporting the Talent Acquisition team in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to hiring;
Assisting with sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, and internal databases;
Screening applications and coordinating interview processes, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates;
Contributing to talent engagement initiatives, including intern programs and candidate experience activities;
- Contributing ideas to improve recruitment strategies, tools, and processes;
Supporting the transition and optimization of recruitment tools and people-related platforms to enhance user experience;
- Partnering with hiring teams to understand role requirements and attract top talent;
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field;
- Available to work full-time (40 hours);
- Available to work for a period of 6 months;
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities;
- Proactive, creative, and comfortable thinking outside the box to attract and engage talent;
- Fluent in English (written and spoken);
- Living in the Amsterdam area or willing to commute (please note that Swapfiets does not offer travel compensation for interns);
- Affinity and/or experience with Recruitment or Talent acquisition is a plus;
- Eager to learn, and ready to take ownership in a dynamic environment!

What We Do
Swapfiets provides a full-service bicycle subscription service, giving members access to bicycles with ongoing maintenance and support across more than 60 cities in nine countries. The company was created after its founders saw students struggling with unreliable bikes. Its model is designed to make cycling more convenient by replacing the hassles of ownership with a dependable, serviced bike available through a recurring subscription.
