ABOUT THIS ROLE
This is an incredible opportunity for a forward-thinking, solutions oriented Talent Acquisition & Human Resources Specialist. The successful candidate will be a key cog in the expansion of our new office in Manila. You will grow the business with your strong recruiting skills and will support the business by providing comprehensive, professional, and efficient HR service. This involves solving organizational challenges with people-related solutions aligned to our core values, while showing a commitment to provide great employee experience for our employees through all phases of their careers. This role will support managers and employees across the organization and influence and execute our people-related strategy. We want a team-player willing to work on any task that comes your way from something simple to complex. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition

  • Leads and manages the end-to-end recruitment process in Manila: job posting, sourcing candidates utilizing LinkedIn and other platforms for active and passive candidates, screening calls, scheduling interviews, offers and negotiation and onboarding.
  • Builds strong relationships with candidates, external agencies, and the business.
  • Partners with leadership and managers to scope the new roles to attract the best talent into their teams.
  • Identifies innovative new strategies to find the best talent. Utilizes tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter to identify prospective talent.
  • Acts as a brand ambassador to build a strong employer brand such as utilizing LinkedIn and scoping out events to build brand awareness in the Philippines.


Human Resources

  • Provides expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, employee relations and development, talent reviews, absence management and employee engagement.
  • Ensures the successful completion of inclusive, global HR Programs, in close collaboration with our HR Centers of Excellence.
  • Serves as a partner and trusted advisor to leaders and play a critical role in enhancing their leadership effectiveness.
  • Develops and drives people related strategies by identifying and researching human resource issues, contributing information, analysis, and recommendations in line with organisation objectives.
  • Develops strong relationships with business clients and support managers in the application of HR policies and procedures, employment law and HR best practice.
  • Champions, promotes, and demonstrates our culture of Integrity, Inclusion, and Innovation by being a role model and guide for employees.
  • Provides insightful data to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions.
  • Leads and participates in local or global project teams on HR projects and initiatives
  • Assists with HR Operations & other administrative duties such as facilitating pay change requests and managing onboarding & offboarding processes and activities
  • Manages job requisition requests and approvals for business unit


Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Management, or related field or equivalent prior experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Recruiter, or HR generalist
  • Experience in handling complex employee relations issues
  • Experience in the development and delivery of employee engagement strategies and initiatives
  • Global SHRM/HRCI or CIPD certification a plus


Required Skills/Abilities

  • Understanding of general human resources practices, policies and procedures including experience working in recruiting, operations, employee relations, and learning & development
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of employment/labor law in the Philippines and the practical application in a business environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 ; HRIS systems (e.g. Workday) will be a plus
  • Experience experience conducting workplace investigations and handling employee relations matters
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach
