Summary
A Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) provides administrative and operational support for the recruitment and onboarding process. The TAC will work closely with hiring managers and Human Resources team on posting jobs, scheduling interviews, ensuring completion of pre-employment requirements, and coordinating new employee orientation. The TAC serves as the primary administrative support for the recruiting efforts and assists with onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
• Assist in the recruiting function for the organization by posting and maintaining job openings on internal and external sites.
• Coordinate interview schedules and logistics with candidates, hiring managers, and interview team.
• Send out interview evaluation forms and ensure interview feedback is received from interviewers in a timely manner.
• Assist with sending out candidate assessments and partner with hiring managers to ensure it is complete prior to the hiring decision.
• Provide support and communication to ensure managers can maximize their results.
• Assist with recruitment events, career fairs, and community outreach activities.
• Prepare and distribute offer letters to candidates following verbal offer acceptance.
• Send out all required new hire paperwork and ensure it is completed accurately and timely.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirement activities, including background check, drug screening, reference checks, and physical.
• Maintain communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the onboarding process.
• Enter new hire information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) prior to the candidate’s hire date.
• Work directly with hiring managers, trainers, and Human Resources team to coordinate new employee orientation every two weeks.
• Active participate in committees (i.e. Employee Engagement, DE&I).
• Assist with managing the Employee Referral Bonus program.
• Assist with reviewing online applications and screening candidates in the recruitment process as needed.
• Assist with maintaining employee records within the Application Tracking System (ATS) ensuring timely and accurate updates throughout the employee life cycle.
• Respond to all employment verifications within 24-hour time period.
• Familiarizes self and keeps up to date on We Are Sharing Hope SC policies and procedures.
• Familiarizes self and understands benefits information, in order to answer general questions.
• Maintains professionalism and tact in sensitive situations.
• Possesses and maintains high degree of confidentiality.
• Possesses and always maintains an approachable and friendly demeanor.
• Works collaboratively with HR Team.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Strong sense of discretion, ethics and professionalism. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in business or human resources.
• 1-2 years of previous experience in recruiting coordination, human resources or administrative support preferred.
• Exceptional time management skills, ability to work autonomously and efficiently, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service aptitude
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must have good problem solving skills.
• Must be highly computer literate with capability in e-mail, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
• Ability to quickly learn to utilize various department specific computer programs.
Skills Required

We Are Sharing Hope SC (SHSC) is South Carolina's federally-designated Organ Procurement Organization (OPO). This non-profit organization helps save and heal lives by facilitating organ, eye, and tissue donation across the state. SHSC provides critical community education to inspire registered donors and offers compassionate aftercare support and resources for donor families during their time of loss.
