Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator assist with recruiting efforts conducting screening, reference checks and verifications. They will actively maintain employee records and perform other human resource related job duties as directed.


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma and one year of human resources experience required. AA/BA in related field preferred.
  • Intermideate skills with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong command of written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of the organization's overall business and its objectives.
  • Ability to perform in cross-functional team approach and job responsibilities.
  • Strong detail orientation.
  • A multi-tasker with strong ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and produce quality results on time with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using computers with related knowledge of software programs and the Internet.
  • Commitment and ability to abide by standards of professional ethics and maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with others in a team environment, respecting and valuing the perspectives and experiences of others.
  • Adherence to infection control procedures, including but not limited to, standard precautions of temperature monitoring, hand washing, symptom self-monitoring, masking and social distancing.
  • Assist and support the Center/Department/Program to meet standards of High Reliability.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provides direct support to the WellSpace Health recruiting process.
  • Reviews applicants and candidate’s resume/application for qualifications required by job description.
  • Assists recruiting team with sourcing, phone screening and scheduling interviews.
  • Assists with recruiting documents ie. tracking spreadsheet and pre-screening documents.
  • Assists with job requisitions and job descriptions.
  • Assists with updates to candidates on a weekly basis.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering candidate and employee questions.
  • Enters documentation in the employee electronic files.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The work environment is characteristic of a typical office environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands and arms to reach. The employee is also required to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must also possess hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the phone.  The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.


The employee may be in contact with individuals and families in crisis who may be ill, using substances and/or not attentive to personal health and safety for themselves or their homes. The employee may experience a number of unpleasant sensory demands associated with the client’s use of alcohol and drugs, and the lack of personal care. The employee may also be exposed to bodily fluids (blood, urine) and hazardous chemicals.
