Company Overview: Emerging Tech is a dynamic and innovative government contractor dedicated to providing IT services and solutions to clients. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Analyst to join our team and contribute to bridging the gap between IT solutions and supplying the right talented personnel.
Pay: Minimum Wage + Bonus
Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing, screening, and reviewing resumes of potential candidates for various positions within the company.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for specific roles.
- Assist in the coordination of interviews, including scheduling and providing necessary information to candidates.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate information.
- Assist in the creation of job descriptions and job specifications for various roles.
- Support the development of employer branding initiatives to attract top talent to the organization.
- Assist in conducting reference checks and background screenings for selected candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to gather feedback and ensure a seamless recruitment process.
- Assist in creating reports and dashboards to track recruitment metrics and progress.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field, or recent graduate.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in candidate records and information.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Enthusiasm for learning about the recruitment and talent acquisition process.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Interest in IT and government contracting industries is a plus.
- Must be available from 11AM - 5PM
