As the Talent Acquisition Agile Squad Lead for Automation & Engineering, you will guide a cross-functional recruiting squad using agile principles to accelerate the hiring of critical engineering, technology and digital talent across Operations Centre, for Automation Business Area in India.
Working closely with Hiring Managers and Business Leaders, you will organize recruitment into focused sprints, prioritize hiring backlogs based on business-critical needs, and enable the recruiting squad to deliver high-quality talent through agile ways of working. This role is suited for an experienced agile practitioner who can coach teams while driving execution.

Key Responsibilities
Agile Recruitment Delivery
• Partner with Business Leaders, Engineering Managers, and Hiring Managers to prioritize hiring backlogs based on project criticality, customer commitments, and business impact.
• Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify bottlenecks across sourcing, assessment, interview scheduling, and offer management, driving continuous improvement.
• Translate hiring requirements across India Operations Center, focusing on Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Operations Centers, Digital Engineering, and Industrial Software into clear recruitment priorities and sourcing strategies.
• Partner with hiring managers to streamline technical assessments and interview processes while maintaining quality and improving candidate experience.
• Reduce hiring cycle time and improve conversion across engineering talent pipelines.
• Track and report recruitment metrics including not limited to Time-to-Hire, Hiring Velocity, Pipeline Health, Offer Acceptance Rate, Candidate Experience, and Quality of Hire.
• Use recruitment analytics to optimize sprint planning, sourcing effectiveness, and team capacity.
• Act as a strategic recruitment partner to business Stakeholders by aligning hiring priorities, managing changing requirements, providing market insights and recruitment updates, and delivering proactive solutions while ensuring a consistent candidate experience throughout the recruitment and offer process.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Minimum 10+ years of Talent Acquisition experience with demonstrated success in Engineering, Automation, Manufacturing or Industrial Technology recruitment.
• Experience recruiting niche engineering talent across automation, electrical, instrumentation, commissioning, digital, or industrial software domains.
• Mandatory 2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment as an Agile Squad Lead, Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Recruitment Lead driving agile delivery practices.
• Experience using ATS platforms (e.g., Workday) and leveraging recruitment analytics to improve hiring outcomes. Comfortable using dashboards and recruitment metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing capabilities across HR and business leadership.
• Prior experience in coaching hiring managers, recruiters, sourcing specialists, and coordinators on agile recruitment practices, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. Fostering accountability, transparency, and continuous learning
