Department Overview
The strategy of the Human Resource function is to have the right people in the right place at the right time. HR focuses on working with the business to formulate their people strategy to ensure implementation of their strategic aims to meet their business goals. Human Resources seek to be integrated and core within the business, highly visible and to support staff at all levels with a solution-oriented and commercial approach.
Our role is to act as independent facilitators, providing specialist advice in all areas of people management, such as Employee Relations (Lifecycle), Employment Law, People Risk, Payroll, Benefits, Data Management, Recruitment and On-Boarding, Compensation, Learning and Development, Diversity and Inclusion, and Wellbeing.
The key to the HR function is to achieve a balance between commercial requirements, employment law and best practice in our fields of expertise.
Job Overview
As the Talent Acquisition Advisor, you are responsible for assisting in the company's recruiting and Talent Acquisition methods and strategies. You will also be responsible for finding, attracting and hiring new employees, and meeting the company's workforce needs and goals in Spain and the Netherlands. The Talent Acquisition Advisor must possess a high level of integrity and be commercially aware in order to build credibility within the business and with candidates.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle in Monex Spain and the Netherlands; with a strong emphasis on direct sourcing, candidate engagement & marketing to attract and hire qualified professionals for our foreign exchange sales team.
- Foster an understanding of the foreign exchange market, broader financial markets and the skills required for sales roles within the industry.
- Utilise various sourcing methods to attract potential candidates including online job postings, search engines, networking, and referrals.
- Building a world-class jurisdiction-based recruitment strategy.
- Conduct initial screening interviews, telephone interviews, and/or face-to-face interviews with prospective applicants.
- Assist with writing and updating job descriptions.
- Provide coaching and guidance to hiring managers as it pertains to recruiting and hiring practices.
- Building relationships and a strong network at different levels within the company.
- Ensure all recruiting activities are compliant with local employment laws.
- Provide regular management information on recruitment progress, highlighting risks and areas of opportunities.
- Technology and Data:
- Ensuring accurate and up to date recruitment records are maintained.
- Ensuring the company are GDPR compliant (in relation to applicant and Employee Data only).
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a full-cycle recruiter with exposure to commercial roles, preferably within the foreign exchange or financial services industry.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases (LinkedIn and Workday).
- Knowledge of local employment law.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Capable of managing workload in a high-paced environment, strong self-starter and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Results-driven, meeting deadlines, attention to detail and building a tailored strategy to deliver on KPIs.

Languages
- High standard of oral & written English and Spanish is mandatory.
- Fluency in other European languages (particularly French and Dutch) is highly desirable.
