About the Opportunity

Join HammondCare's Talent Acquisition team and help shape the future of compassionate aged and dementia care across Australia.

As part of our high-performing team of 11 recruitment professionals, you'll play a vital role in attracting exceptional talent who share our mission of improving lives through compassionate, relationship-based care, guided by Christian values, for people in need regardless of their circumstances or beliefs.

In this rewarding role, you'll recruit for roles whose work has a meaningful impact on the lives of people living with dementia, their families, and care providers across the country.

This is an opportunity to build strong stakeholder relationships, influence hiring outcomes, and deliver an outstanding candidate experience while contributing to a purpose-driven organisation that makes a genuine difference every day.

This is a 12-month maximum term parental leave contract commencing late October/beginning November 2026, based in St Leonards, NSW with hybrid working arrangements.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Manage the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle across a diverse portfolio of roles

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs, workforce challenges and recruitment priorities

  • Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract high-quality talent

  • Screen and shortlist candidates against role requirements and organisational values

  • Conduct engaging candidate phone interviews and assessments

  • Coordinate interviews and ensure a seamless candidate experience

  • Manage background screening, compliance and pre-employment checks

  • Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting within our ATS (Workday)

  • Provide market insights and recruitment advice to support informed hiring decisions

About you:

  • 5+ years' recruitment experience

  • Experience recruiting in Aged Care / Nursing / Allied Health is highly regarded

  • Experience building credibility quickly and establish trusted relationships with senior stakeholders

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously

  • Strong end-to-end recruitment capability and take a proactive approach to finding great talent

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional experiences for both candidates and hiring managers

  • Outstanding communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is essential, with Workday experience highly regarded
