Tactical Systems Operator (TSO) Instructor – Airborne & Ground Training
Location: Hurlburt Field, FL Security Clearance: TS/SCI (Required on Day 1)
Leidos is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tactical Systems Operator (TSO) Instructor to join our team at Hurlburt Field, FL. This role is vital in training the next generation of TSO students by delivering expert instruction in ground, simulator, and airborne training environments, ensuring mission readiness in accordance with AFSOC's Tactical Systems Operator Qualification Course Syllabus.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, refine, and enhance TSO simulator scenarios to align with established training objectives.
Design and prepare comprehensive course curriculum for student instruction.
Plan, schedule, and conduct high-impact training sessions in classroom, simulator, and airborne environments.
Monitor and implement updates to certification requirements, ensuring compliance with evolving standards.
Serve as a liaison between ISRG, subordinate squadrons, and key intelligence community (IC) elements.
Provide expert instruction on TSO equipment before, during, and after airborne and simulator training, maintaining detailed documentation per local policies.
Support TSO FTU training and ISRG training office functions as required.
Execute administrative tasks related to TSO training with precision and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of relevant experience in tactical operations and instruction.
Bachelor's degree preferred (additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
Active TS/SCI clearance (must be current on Day 1).
Previous qualification and experience as an airborne Tactical Systems Operator, including TSO flight instructor expertise.
Comprehensive understanding of TSO mission objectives and Special Operations protocols.
Ability to operate independently while contributing to a high-performance, dynamic team environment.
Proven experience in curriculum development and training program design.
Capability to maintain flight requirements, including:
Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration Second-Class Medical Certificate
Physiological training compliance
Strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and effective instruction.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and instructional documentation.

Pay Range:Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
