What You’ll Do

The Data Analyst Summer (June-August) Intern will partner with the FP&A team to understand the structure and format of data sources. The FP&A team identifies opportunities to improve the growth and profitability of Authentic’s business by leveraging the company’s reporting, analytics and financial planning platform. 

 

What you’ll be working on

 Perform exploratory data analysis and create dashboards in Tableau to help understand patterns and trends in the data
 Creating and delivering insightful presentations 
 Ensure data integrity and availability to support analytical requirements
 Utilize Tableau Prep in order to create processes for aggregating Salesforce and Excel based data into newly developed models 
 Tableau Dashboard/Reports creation, aggregating and sorting data in Tableau Prep 
 Report creation using Excel

 

Must Haves 

 Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Master's program with a preferred focus on data or business analytics 
 Able to work onsite 2 days in our NYC office
 Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and G Suite
 Knowledge of Tableau: Only applications with sample Tableau dashboards/previous work will be considered
 Salesforce experience is an added plus but not required 
 Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external partners
 Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
 Process-driven and constantly looking for ways to streamline and simplify complex task

 

Primary Location Salary Range:

The hourly rate for an undergraduate student intern in New York, NY, is $18
The hourly rate for a graduate student intern in New York, NY, is $22
