The Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for leading and delivering the Talent Acquisition strategy across a portfolio of countries, ensuring global Talent Acquisition priorities are successfully translated into locally effective hiring strategies, processes, and outcomes.
Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, this role leads a team of in-country Talent Acquisition and Resourcing professionals, providing strategic direction, operational leadership, and coaching across multiple markets.
Job DescriptionWhat You’ll Do as TA Lead for - G&A, Benelux & France
- Accountable for the performance, delivery, and continuous improvement of Talent Acquisition across a portfolio of countries, ensuring alignment with global Talent Acquisition strategy, operational standards, and business priorities.
- Leads and develops a team of experienced in-country Talent Acquisition and Resourcing professionals, providing strategic direction, coaching, and alignment while enabling strong local ownership and decision-making within each market.
- Partners closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition, global TA COE, and cross-functional stakeholders to embed and localise global Talent Acquisition strategies and frameworks across all supported markets, ensuring alignment with local market conditions, legal requirements, cultural nuances, and business needs
- Acts as a strategic partner to senior business leaders and P&C stakeholders, supporting organisational growth, talent pipelining, and evolving hiring requirements.
- Uses data, market insights, and analytics to identify trends, risks and opportunities, supporting data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Supports the implementation and adoption of Talent Acquisition transformation initiatives, technologies, and process improvements in partnership with TA Operations and COE teams.
- Champions a high-quality and consistent candidate and stakeholder experience, ensuring alignment with Primark’s employer brand, employee value proposition, and Talent Acquisition standards.
- Ensures all recruitment activity complies with relevant employment legislation, governance requirements, and internal policies across all supported countries.
- Proactively builds the profile and credibility of the Talent Acquisition function across the business, ensuring stakeholders understand the strategic value and capabilities of the function.
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years’ Talent Acquisition experience within fast-paced/high-volume and multi-site organisations, including 5+ years in Talent Acquisition leadership roles.
- 5+ years’ experience leading geographically dispersed Talent Acquisition teams across multiple countries or regions, including leadership, coaching and developing of experienced managers and operational teams.
- Proven ability to operationalise and localise global Talent Acquisition strategies, frameworks, and ways of working across diverse markets.
- Strong experience working within a matrixed Talent Acquisition environment, partnering with COEs, Employer Brand, Technology, and broader P&C teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability, with experience partnering with senior business leaders across multiple functions and geographies.
- Demonstrated experience leading recruitment delivery at scale, balancing operational performance, candidate experience, and business priorities.
- Experience using recruitment data, market insights, and hiring analytics to drive performance and inform decision-making.
- Experience leading through change, transformation, and evolving organisational environments.
- Strong commercial awareness, communication skills, and professional judgement
- Working proficiency in English.
