Responsibilities
- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits of the workplace to identify potential hazards, comply with safety regulations, and establish corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees to promote awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Promptly report and investigate workplace incidents and accidents, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and corrective measures are implemented.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the legislation. As well as implement procedures to ensure all aspects of safety are covered.
- Commun activities of Safety Departments: Risk assessment elaborations, implementation of actions derived in the Preventive Planning and follow-up, documental management according to EHS system requirements, EHS coordination with contractors and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, or related field. 3+ years experience in a Superior EHS Technician role.
- Written and verbal communication in English is a must.
- EHS Master with all technical specialties (safety, industrial hygienic, ergonomic and psychology) is a requirement.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 45001 and similar standards and best practices.
- EHS experience working in industrial environments is an asset.
