Objetivo/Propósito del puesto:
Gestionar y organizar las áreas de manufactura, buscando cumplir con los objetivos y metas de producción y calidad relacionados con el departamento de pintura.
Desarrollar y ejecutar un plan estratégico para fomentar y mejorar continuamente los conocimientos, las habilidades y el entorno de aprendizaje en una organización multinacional de ingeniería y manufactura de tamaño mediano y alta variedad de productos.

Autoridades:
Consultar el documento FMI-143 para conocer los procedimientos operativos estándar individuales relacionados con las autoridades y responsabilidades del sistema de gestión.

Responsabilidades principales:
• Asegurar que todos los productos desarrollados en su área de manufactura cumplan con las especificaciones de calidad requeridas.
• Desarrollar al personal a su cargo y proporcionar la capacitación necesaria.
• ​​Dar seguimiento a las actualizaciones de documentación o configuraciones requeridas en su departamento, en coordinación con los departamentos de ingeniería.
• Asegurar que el equipo cumpla con las medidas de seguridad adecuadas requeridas por el área.
• Supervisar el mantenimiento autónomo de su equipo y el realizado por sus subordinados.
• Dar seguimiento a los parámetros de fallas proporcionados por el Departamento de Calidad y ejecutar las acciones correctivas adecuadas.
• Dar seguimiento a los informes diarios de producción, monitoreando el cumplimiento de los puntos especificados en el documento.
• Verificar y dar seguimiento a las oportunidades de mejora de procesos y proyectos de mejora continua (CIP).
• Asegurar que el personal a su cargo cumpla con cada uno de los puntos establecidos en el Código de Conducta (Ética) de Spellman de México, S.A. de C.V.

Competencias y habilidades:
Ponderación/Nivel: (1-Básico, 2-Intermedio, 3-Avanzado, 4-Especializado)
• Estudios de bachillerato o licenciatura concluidos.
• Mínimo de 2 años de experiencia en los procesos mencionados, en términos de habilidades y conocimientos.
• Para el área de pintura: proceso de recubrimiento en polvo (powder coating), procesos de pintura líquida, preparación de pintura líquida (concentraciones), aplicación de masilla (Bondo) y acabados suaves, conocimiento de procesos de desbarbado en diferentes materiales, procesos de serigrafía y dominio de procesos de empaque.
• Lectura e interpretación de planos o dibujos técnicos.
• Capacidad para analizar problemas y proponer soluciones.

Skills Required

  • Bachillerato or Licenciatura completed
  • Minimum 2 years experience in relevant painting/manufacturing processes
  • Experience with powder coating processes
  • Experience with liquid paint processes and paint preparation (concentrations)
  • Skill in Bondo (masilla) application and achieving smooth finishes
  • Knowledge of deburring processes for different materials
  • Experience with serigraphy (screen printing) processes
  • Familiarity with packing/packaging processes
