Job Description

We are looking for professionals committed to their growth and interested in long-term work in the industry as Farm Technicians in highly modernized facilities.

      Note: This position is as an OPERATOR, not a supervisory role.



Main Responsibilities:
  • Artificial insemination

  • Farrowing assistance

  • Animal treatment

  • Castration and tail docking of piglets

  • High-pressure facility washing

  • Activity and treatment record keeping

  • Movement of adult animals

  • Manual feeding of animals


Working Conditions:

  • Usual work hours: 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • Average of 90 to 100 hours per biweekly pay period

  • One day off per week

  • Work locations: various farms in states such as Ontario, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec among others

  • Extreme weather conditions depending on the season (cold in winter and hot in summer)

Requirements

To be eligible for this position, a TN work visa for Canada is required. Therefore, it is essential to meet the following requirements:

  • Be of Mexican nationality

  • Hold a university degree and professional license in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field

  • Possess a Mexican passport valid for at least 1 year

  • Have a valid Mexican driver’s license

Compensation and benefits vary depending on your professional experience, English proficiency level, and the state where the farm is located.

  • Hourly wage: between $17.00 and $20.00 CAD
