Responsibilities

Responsabilidades principales
• Ejecutar mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo en equipos de refrigeración y aire
acondicionado.
• Diagnosticar fallas en sistemas mecánicos, eléctricos y de control asociados a equipos de
refrigeración.
• Realizar reparaciones en compresores, condensadores, evaporadores, sistemas de
tuberías y controles eléctricos.
• Monitorear el desempeño de los equipos para asegurar su funcionamiento óptimo y
eficiencia energética.
• Manejar y recuperar refrigerantes conforme a las regulaciones ambientales y de
seguridad.
• Mantener registros precisos de mantenimiento, reparaciones y piezas utilizadas.
• Cumplir con normas de seguridad, salud ocupacional y procedimientos internos.
• Coordinar con otros técnicos, supervisores o contratistas cuando sea necesario.
• Responder a emergencias operacionales durante el turno asignado.
• Apoyar iniciativas de mejora continua en mantenimiento y confiabilidad de equipos.

Qualifications

Requisitos
• Grado asociado o técnico en Refrigeración, Mecánica Industrial o campo relacionado.
• Licencia vigente de Técnico de Refrigeración (requerida).
Experiencia
• Entre 2 a 5 años de experiencia en mantenimiento de sistemas de refrigeración
industrial y/o comercial.
Conocimientos y habilidades
• Conocimiento en sistemas HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and
Refrigeration), controles eléctricos y lectura de diagramas.
• Manejo de herramientas y equipos de diagnóstico.
• Conocimiento de normas de seguridad (OSHA, PROSHA).
• Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente y en equipo.
• Habilidad para el análisis y solución de problemas técnicos.
• Manejo de dispositivos electrónicos (celular, computadora)

Skills Required

Associate degree or technical degree in Refrigeration, Industrial Mechanics, or related field
Valid Refrigeration Technician license
2 to 5 years of experience in commercial/industrial refrigeration and HVAC maintenance
Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, electrical controls, and ability to read diagrams
Experience handling and recovering refrigerants in accordance with environmental and safety regulations
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment
Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA, PROSHA)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to use electronic devices (cellphone, computer) for work tasks
