Responsibilities:

Experience:

  • At least three years experience in special education or related fields.
  • Experience and ability in reviewing and evaluating assessment data prepared for the special education process. 
  • Experience working with students with special needs.
  • Experience working in schools as a teacher.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Eligibility for a Postgraduate Certificate, with endorsement in one or more disability areas covered under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act or in related field.
  • Successful evaluations for last three years.
  • Familiarity with models of inclusion.
  • Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.
