Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Systems Testing / QA
Specialist to lead and execute comprehensive testing strategies for large-scale
applications. This role focuses on ensuring software quality through a
combination of manual and automated testing, validating system performance, and
collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software
development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide
guidance on testing strategy, test plans, tool selection, and required
resources
- Plan,
organize, and execute testing for GUI and non-GUI systems, including
integration, system, and user acceptance testing
- Develop
and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases across various
components
- Perform
functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Identify,
document, and track defects using tools such as ALM, JIRA, Bugzilla, and
Azure DevOps
- Collaborate
with development teams to reproduce and resolve defects
- Develop
and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, UFT,
TestComplete, and Postman
- Integrate
automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct
performance, stress, and load testing to ensure scalability
- Validate
system accuracy, integrity, and behavior under different conditions
- Ensure
compliance with accessibility standards (AODA) and regulatory requirements
- Participate
in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and
retrospectives
- Maintain
documentation including test results, coverage, and quality metrics
- Validate
data integrity, migration, and transformation across systems
- Provide
input into user manuals and release documentation
Qualifications
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 5–10
years of experience in QA and testing, including automation and manual
testing
- Strong
experience with defect triaging, reporting, and defect management tools
(e.g., Azure DevOps)
- Extensive
experience in regression testing (manual and automated)
- Proven
ability to prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test data
- Experience
with various testing types: black-box, system, integration, unit,
security, penetration, performance, and UAT testing
- Hands-on
experience with automation tools and scripting
- Experience
working within Agile/Scrum/DevOps environments
- Strong
data validation and backend testing experience using queries
- Experience
with CI/CD integration and automation pipelines
Technical Skills
- Familiarity
with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, UFT, Postman
- Experience
with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
- Understanding
of scripting/programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Bash)
- Exposure
to HTML5, accessibility standards (WAI-ARIA), and front-end technologies
- Experience
with version control and CASE tools
