Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Systems Test Engineer – Level 2 or 3 based out of Aurora, CO.
Position Overview:
Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints. Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program. Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.
This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work.

This requisition may be filled as either a level 2 or level 3.
Basic Qualifications for a Level 2:
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at the time of application
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience; 0 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience with ground system software deployment, integration and testing in complex, layered, cloud-based environments
Understanding of requirements decomposition, verification activity planning and execution
Ability to collaborate with software development teams to ensure understanding, reproduction steps, resolution approach
Ability to proactively identify software issues, perform troubleshooting and root cause investigation in support of generating detailed problem reports and engage in rapid, collaborative resolution
Experience with Scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash), Git, Containerization (Kubernetes, Helm), and Java

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree, or 1 year of relevant experience with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience with ground system software deployment, integration and testing in complex, layered, cloud-based environments
Understanding of requirements decomposition, verification activity planning and execution
Ability to collaborate with software development teams to ensure understanding, reproduction steps, resolution approach
Ability to proactively identify software issues, perform troubleshooting and root cause investigation in support of generating detailed problem reports and engage in rapid, collaborative resolution
Experience with Scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash), Git, Containerization (Kubernetes, Helm), and Java
