Stellantis global strategic plan established the Systems Technical Lead role to oversee new feature development and coordinate activities of the cross-functional teams. This position aims to achieve or surpass launch metrics for new feature development while representing the Voice of the Customer. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with colleagues from Product Planning, Core Engineering, Systems Engineering, HMI, and Validation, maintaining a strong focus on developing and delivering new features to meet corporate milestones.
Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure common process and consistent execution of virtual and physical tools
- Act as the technical expert at the vehicle level for assigned domain areas (including Safety)
- Support Vehicle Issue Resolution as a member of first responder team
- Capture lessons learned for specific domain area
- Own initiatives to address Safety, Quality or Warranty concerns
- Support platform new feature development
- Support program specific new feature development
- Conducting competitive benchmarking & voice of customer clinics to support the development process
- Planning development cadence based on defined deliverables and milestones
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science: Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering or an equivalent from an ABET accredited university
- Minimum 8 years of automotive experience
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written and ability to communicate technical content to a non-technical audience
- Good project coordination skills
- Flexibility - must be able to adapt to changing environment with minimal effect on productivity
- Strong Automotive Systems Background
- Strong Background in Engineering Product Development
- Knowledge of ISO 26262
- Understanding of FMEA, FTA, HARA
- Ability to interpret various regulatory requirements and Industry Best practices
- Knowledge of INCOSE requirements decomposition
- Functional knowledge of DVP&R and validation planning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university
- Knowledge of IBM doors, ANSYS Medini Analyze or similar ALM/PLM management tools
