The Cloud Services team is responsible for the provisioning, management, and optimization of cloud services to support corporate projects and enterprise-wide initiatives. This includes enterprise cloud administration across public cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), as well as SaaS platforms including Microsoft 365 (M365) and other high-value enterprise SaaS solutions.

The System Specialist is responsible for the design, planning, implementation, maintenance, and support of cloud-based solutions aligned with corporate standards and governance frameworks. This role encompasses the full lifecycle management of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings, ensuring compliance with cost optimization, security, identity management, automation, and resource consistency objectives.

This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, DevOps practices, identity and access management (IAM), and cloud-native tools and services. The ideal candidate will have experience with hybrid cloud environments and a strong focus on operational excellence, security, and innovation. In addition to technical expertise, the System Specialist must demonstrate the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, contribute to the development of cloud governance policies, and drive automation initiatives that enhance scalability and reliability. A proactive approach to monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement is essential, along with a commitment to staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

ResponsibilitiesCore Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the design, planning, implementation, maintenance, and support of cloud-based solutions aligned with corporate standards and governance frameworks. This role encompasses the full lifecycle management of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) offering, ensuring compliance with cost optimization, security, identity management, automation, and resource consistency objectives.
  • Administering and optimizing multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle) for IaaS and PaaS workloads.
  • Managing enterprise SaaS platforms including M365, collaboration tools, and other business-critical SaaS applications.
  • Enhancing and enforcing the cloud governance model to ensure compliance with IT policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with project teams to architect and deploy secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
  • Monitoring cloud usage and performance, implementing automation for provisioning and configuration management.
  • Leading incident response, troubleshooting, and resolution of cloud-related issues.
  • Managing a team of IT professionals and contractors, providing technical leadership and mentorship.
  • Supporting day-to-day IT administrative operations and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
QualificationsRequired Education/Experience
  • Master's Degree with a minimum of three (3) years relevant experience or
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of four (4) years relevant experience or
  • Associate's Degree with a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience.
Preferred Education/Experience
  • Master's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Math, Business, or applicable degree.

Relevant Work Experience
  • Strong skills and experience with the MS Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project, required.
  • Lead meetings, translate functional to technical info, and create user-friendly documentation, required.
  • Excellent work ethics and integrity, required.
  • Ability to learn new technology as required for the job using documentation and other available resources, required.
  • Flexibility to work on multiple assignments with changing priorities and stay on schedule/on budget, required.
  • Experience as a dedicated participant on a medium to large scale systems development project, required.
  • 3+ years of experience configuring and deploying enterprise workloads on major cloud platforms (i.e. Azure, AWS, GCP). Knowledge of at least one other cloud hosting platform, required.
  • Experience in management, configuration and maintenance of M365, Teams and Intune. Familiarity with Exchange Online, Sharepoint and other M365 applications, preferred.
  • Experience with Azure, Oracle Cloud or multi cloud providers, preferred.
  • Knowledge of DevOps process and experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub, preferred.
  • Experience with Powershell, Python, or other scripting language, preferred.
  • Formal Project Management and/or Business Analysis skills, preferred.
  • Experience implementing packaged software, preferred.
  • Any Cloud certifications, preferred.
