Briefly Describe the Work
Global InfoTek, Inc. is seeking a Systems Research Engineer / Technical SME. In this key role, you will perform advanced DoD technology evaluations, conduct Technology Readiness Level (TRL) assessments, and provide engineering oversight for prototype development across critical modernization priorities, including microelectronics, quantum, and autonomous systems.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated expertise conducting technical evaluations and TRL assessments for advanced DoD systems.
- Background in prototype engineering oversight, roadmap development, and technology transition planning.
- In-depth knowledge of one or more modernization priorities (Microelectronics, Quantum, Hypersonics, Autonomy).
- Ability to evaluate complex contractor/laboratory technical proposals and prototype test results.
- Superior technical writing skills with experience authoring executive-level briefing packages for senior DoD leadership.
Desired Skills
- Prior experience supporting DARPA, Service Research Labs (AFRL, NRL, DEVCOM), or DIU.
- Understanding of Defense Acquisition System (DoD 5000 series) and Rapid Prototyping pathways (Middle Tier of Acquisition).
- Experience facilitating interagency technical working groups.
Relevant Certifications
PE (Professional Engineer), INCOSE CSEP/ASEP, or Agile/Systems Engineering Certifications
