Systems Operations Engineer - Autosys

About this role:
 

Wells Fargo is seeking a Systems Operations Engineer.

In this role, you will:

• Participate in complex technical issues and initiatives related to large scale applications, systems, databases, or other technical products and services
• Identify opportunity for process improvements within technical support strategies and plans
• Review and analyze technical queries to extract data, create standard databases, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems supporting low to medium risk technical deliverables
• Present recommendations for resolving complex technical queries
• Exercise some independent judgment to analyze performance trends and recommend process improvements while developing understanding of technical process controls or standards
• Work as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and processes
• Provide information related to supported system area to functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders, including internal customers

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Systems Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
   

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in Production / Application support teams (including troubleshooting application issues / installations / deployments / configurations) Change/problem/incident management experience
• Hands on experience in tools like Urban code and Harness is preferrable
• Experience in ServiceNow is a must
• Hands on experience in Linux and Windows env with scripting knowledge in any shell is preferrable
• Knowledge in handing of Autosys and Cron scheduled jobs in the env is required
• Any RDBMS experience is an added advantage
• Capital Market Knowledge and especially in Equities Trade life cycle is a must
• Monitoring tool like Geneos ITRS, Splunk or any other tool is required
• Hands on experience in working on Jira/Confluence is required

Job Expectations:

• Should have good communication skills. (both Verbal and Written)
• Required to work on multiple teams when required and engage appropriate teams and work collaboratively towards resolution
• Have understanding of problem management
• Manage application build and configuration documentation.
• Maintain KB in ServiceNow and Confluence
• Flexible to work in different shift timings
